After passing the Category H jump and release from the AFF portion of the progression, the student completes a number of solo and coach jumps. Coach jumps are done with a USPA trained coach and each one focuses on different exit, freefall, and canopy control techniques. These jumps allow the student to learn and practice the skills necessary to complete the proficiency card and accumulate a minimum of 25 jumps, both requirements for the A license. 

Completion of the proficiency card is required for the A License, and it is the student's responsibility to make sure each section is filled out and signed by the appropriate instructors/coaches during the student progression.
